About me

As a counsellor, I place importance on building trust and understanding with you as my client so we can work together on what is important to you, in your own way, and at your own pace. I offer short-term and long-term counselling, and we can talk about your timescales and what you are looking for in having counselling. I want to support you to have more control in your life and that starts with having control in the therapy room.

I have worked as an acupuncturist, mental health support worker and advocate for several years and have a great deal of experience supporting people through difficult times including depression, anxiety, bereavement, questions of sexuality and gender, stigma, illness and abuse.

I am a psychotherapist in advanced clinical training in Transactional Analysis with the TA Training Organisation in Leeds, and I’m currently working towards a UKATA Diploma. I hold membership of UKATA and abide by their code of ethics. Like most counsellors, I receive regular supervision.
